Our Concierge Construction Method
A streamlined path that respects your time and business operations.
1. Listen & Align (Consultation)
We clarify goals, schedule constraints, operational windows (after-hours/weekends), and budget targets. You’ll get an initial plan outline and risk/constraint call-outs.
2. Preconstruction & Permitting Prep
We coordinate drawings and specifications for a complete submittal: architectural, MEP, life safety, and finishes. For Provo tenant finishes, we prepare plan sets that cover the required checklist items—code analysis, ADA dimensions, electrical/MEP sheets, fire-sprinkler path, and more; Provo requires plan-review fees at submittal, ADA shown on drawings, and a Utah-licensed architect’s stamp for projects over 3,000 sf. We handle the paperwork and coordination so your submittal is clean and complete.
3. Schedule & Mobilize
Your superintendent builds a phasing and protection plan (egress maintained, dust/noise control, temporary partitions) and coordinates inspections. If your project involves sprinklers/alarms, we align with the Fire Marshal’s office early to keep plan review and field inspections on track.
4. Build with Uptime in Mind
We execute the work in logical phases—after-hours where needed—to protect business continuity, neighbors, and staff. Expect tidy sites, daily logs, and weekly owner updates with progress photos and look-ahead tasks.
5. Turnover & Support
We walk the space with you, finalize punch, deliver closeout packages, and support your first weeks in operation.

Provo Permitting & Code Know-How — Handled
You don’t need to memorize checklists—we do. Provo’s Commercial Tenant-Finish Plan Review Checklist outlines what must be in your plans (and that plan-review fees are due at submittal); it also requires ADA details on drawings, Fire Marshal approval for sprinkler plans, and a Utah-licensed architect stamp for projects over 3,000 sf. We build these requirements into your package from day one.
Provo and the State of Utah currently use 2021 I-Codes (IBC/IMC/IPC/IFC), 2021 IECC, 2020 NEC, and apply the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design to new construction and alterations. Our team designs and builds to these standards and coordinates with officials as needed.
Need hours or contacts? Provo’s Building Division is at 445 W Center St (Suite 200) and typically serves Mon–Thu, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (permits issued until 5:30 p.m.).
About “fast-track” approvals: Provo does not encourage fast-track construction; any exceptions require full documentation of fast-tracked areas. We plan accordingly and keep submittals complete to avoid rework.
Real stories from clients who wanted more than just a builder.
What It’s Like to Work with CM Pros
David was correct. Not only did he diagnose the problem but did an amazing job repairing the extensive damage, including a main support post, that wasn’t part of the original project. While most people are waiting months for appliances, sub-contractors, etc. in this horrible supply chain climate he used his network to find everything, and everyone, we needed to get the project done in record time. He took care of literally everything throughout the process. His sub-contractors love working with him and they actually show up 😊 We are enjoying our new beautiful space already with only a few small details to finish up. We’ll be sad to see him go. Not only is he an amazing contractor but really does care about his customers and takes great pride in the quality of work performed. David is a great person all the way around. We’ll hire him again for future projects and highly recommend him. Happy CMP Customer in Sandy, Utah"
We made a couple of changes and added on couple of projects and he adjusted as needed for us. He also had a couple of creative suggestions for us which we appreciated. The crews and sub contractors were professional and dependable and I felt good and did not worry about having them in my home.
Just like others during this time there were supply chain issues and Dave dealt with these issues professionally and communicated with us. Dave is honest, and the work was done the way we expect, I’m picky, and it turned out beautiful.
I would work with Dave again and highly recommend him."
David communicated well throughout the process so that there were no surprises and made himself available to answer any questions or concerns we may have had.
Also, despite the craziness in construction these days with regards to worker and material availability, he was able to get all of the work done as planned (we had a strict deadline).
Overall, after vetting a few contractors out there, we are glad we decided to choose David for our project!"
